It’s just as simple as it sounds - when you register for an Easy Menus account, you will be given a QR code that will always point to your menu, without ever needing to be updated. Many times other services will issue you a new QR code each time your menu changes, which means you need to re-print physical copies or replace digital copies to avoid showing a menu that is out of date. Thanks to the Easy Menu update process, your QR code will never need to be changed! Your code will always point to the most current version of your menu, so you can distribute your code with confidence knowing it is permanent.
How do I update my menu using Easy Menus?
You can update your menu simply by sending an email with your new menu attached in PDF format to your unique update address. The system automatically updates the menu linked to your permanent QR code. Your unique update address is provided to you when your permanent QR code is created.
What happens if I send the wrong menu or need to make a correction?
Just send another email with the correct menu attached. The QR code will automatically link to the latest version of the menu you’ve sent.
Is there a limit to how many times I can update my menu?
No, there are no limits for updates. You can update your menu as frequently as needed at no additional cost.
Can I have multiple menus for different times of the day or special events?
Yes, you can manage multiple menus for different occasions. You would need separate QR codes for each distinct menu, which can be easily managed through our service. Multiple QR codes does require a Pro level account or higher.
How quickly does the menu update after I send an email?
Instantly! Updates are typically reflected within minutes of receiving the email, ensuring that your customers always have access to the most current menu. You should receive confirmation that your update has been processed and you will know your new menu is live.
Can multiple people send updates to the menu?
Yes, you can authorize multiple email addresses to update your menu, making it easy for designated staff members or external partners, like marketing agencies, to make updates securely. Only authorized email addresses are allowed to update your menu and you can add or remove addresses at any time.
Can I use Easy Menus to design my menu?
Easy Menus is not a design tool - it is a “bring your own PDF” service. You will need to design your menu using your preferred software and then save it as a PDF. Once you have your PDF, you can send it to your unique update address to have it linked to your QR code.
Can I use Easy Menus for ordering and payment?
Easy Menus is a simple service that allows you to easily update your menu and provide a QR code for customers to access it. It does not include ordering or payment functionality. However, you can link your menu to your website or other services that offer these features.
How do customers access my menu?
Customers can scan the QR code using the camera on their smartphone or a QR code scanning app. The linked menu will be displayed on their device. You can place this QR code anywhere you like, either in print or digital formats.
Can businesses other than restaurants use Easy Menus?
Absolutely! While Easy Menus was built to serve the needs of restaurants, the service itself is not limited to restaurant businesses. Any organization who wants to display a PDF via QR code that is easily edited via email updates can take advantage of Easy Menus.
